It is never to late to start teaching your children about finance/money, saving, debt and credit. Sometimes we think “oh they have plenty of time to learn about these concepts of life”. NO, we need to start teaching them when they start getting money for their birthdays and chores or even earning money on little jobs that the neighbors or family having them to do. Open a savings account early and tell them why. Talk about “money does not grow on trees” an old saying that I heard my father say many years ago.
