In the mornings I like to get up and spend at least 30 minutes just being still, being grateful and thanking my spiritual leader (God) for waking me up in good health and well being. Well this morning I read my verse of the day, I listened to my Lord”s Prayer by MercyMe and I did not read my devotional message which is a part of my ritual and spiritual growth each day.
Being somewhat frustrated in not communicating with my husband, I went off on the deep-in ! When i sat down to take some deep breaths I started reading my spiritual food from the “Daily Word”. Title “Let Go and Let God, wow ! It was exactly what I needed at that moment. I would like to share with you if you don’t mind.
I am lifted in Spirit, guided, and loved. It is like the universe knew exactly what I needed to hear!
I may become frustrated, exasperated, or impatient when I am faced with unmet expectation or disappointments. Resisting the temptation to place blame or find fault, I paused and reflected instead! Realizing that my “upset” is not serving me at all.
Instead, I substitute trust, patience, and acceptance as I choose to let go and let God. My thoughts turn from frustration to positive possibilities as I became aware of the presence of love, hope and caring. I am human.
Releasing worry and concern, as I did some deep breathing (five times) I opened up to a warm reassurance that all is in divine order. As I let go and Let God, ideas flowed through freely and discern opportunities I had not seen previously.
Sometimes we all think we “GOT THIS” but each day something can happen that takes us into a whirlwind and WE have to stop, breath and know that our universe has our back! I was totally off the chain. DUH!!!!!!
I took an action step by realizing the best way to communicate the issues on my mind was to write a love letter to my husband with an apology of gratefulness and love.
I accomplished what I needed to accomplish with love.
